During the production and distribution of industrial gases, temperatures can drop as low as –196 °C. Only few materials can withstand such temperatures. SAMSON masters the combination of different materials, temperature transitions, pressure ratings, and specific flow conditions. We have accumulated specialized know-how in this field and continuously extended our expertise in close cooperation with the gas producers over many years.
In our cold-box valves for air separation plants, the thin-walled extension bonnets are made of materials with low heat conductivity to minimize heat exchange. A bellows seal keeps the cryogenic medium inside the valve body. Thanks to this arrangement, the valves can also be installed horizontally. In addition, SAMSON has the right equipment for PSA (pressure swing adsorption) plants.
In pressurized gas tanks, our excess pressure valves and pressure build-up regulators reliably ensure pressure stability while gas is tapped. The Media Differential Pressure Meters and the associated telemetry system allow for automated remote monitoring and supplies management.
